When Osolo of Isolo Honours Promasidor

The Osolo of Isolo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka, has honoured Promasidor Nigeria Limited, makers of Cowbell milk for its good corporate social responsibility programmes to the community.
The traditional ruler honoured Chief Keith Richards, managing director of the company with the Aare Baaladun of the community in Lagos recently.

Speaking at the installation ceremony, Honourable Adeleke Adegboyega, public relations officer to the traditional ruler listed the corporate social responsibilities of Promassidor to the Isolo community to include provision of patrol vehicle to the police, erecting security gate, provision of street light, incubators and hospital equipment to the community.
He said they believed the installation would make other corporate bodies in the community to emulate Promasidor.

Adegboyega said Keith was recognized by the community because of the CSR of the company to the community, adding that because of the company’s unique gesture to the community on its own initiative, the Osolo decided to coined a new chieftaincy title that was not in existence before for the managing director of the company, adding that he is now part and parcel of the community.
In a response to the gesture of the community, the managing director of Promasidor pledged to set up a water treatment plant and review its existing scholarship scheme for the Isolo community.

In his words “Your kingdom will continue to grow and prosper. We will continue to support you. Our growth will be in partnership with your community. We will provide a water treatment plant for the community and maintain it. We will also look at the existing scholarship scheme.”
Besides this new title, Keith had also been honoured by another community in Nigeria before now because of his social relationship with the people of that community.

Also, Keith is a recipient of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) from the Queen of England on her birthday at Buckingham Palace in November 2010 for his services to UK/Nigerian business interests and charitable activities in Nigeria.
